The bases of the Tortoise Drum lamps are constructed of thick sheet iron. Once completed, they are given an acid bath which produces a random, pitted texture in the metal which is enhanced by the antique brass finish. Bronze-finished metal shade. Antique Brass base. Bronze-finished finial.
